Though I am a makeup girly and love to wear makeup and try out different looks all the time, there are days where I am more lazy and have no time or energy to do a full face of makeup. Especially given my busy schedule, I often find myself rushing through my everyday makeup routine in which I need to cram my typical 30 minute everyday glam look into five minutes in order to get to where I need to be on time. Additionally, there are days where I enjoy doing more minimal makeup looks, in which I wear little-to-no makeup, yet enough to freshen up and awaken my face and appearance.
As I scrolled through Tik Tok and watched YouTube videos, I stumbled upon a trend that instantly took the beauty industry by storm. I watched as creatives uploaded their quick five minute makeup routine in which they were able to create a flawless, natural-looking glam in a short amount of time. This was just what I needed to see and it could not have come at a better time. When doing a minimal, #NoMakeup makeup look, I focus on my trouble areas or areas on my face that I would like to freshen up and awaken. Therefore, I make sure to use a nice skin-tone concealer or lightweight foundation to help cover any blemishes, redness of the skin, and cover my eye bags, helping me achieve a refreshed look. A little blush goes a long way in softening my looks and adding a little extra TLC to my cheeks. Light brushes of highlighter underneath my brow bone, lightly down the bridge of my nose and on top of my nose, as well as layered on top of the blush adds a nice, fresh glow to my face, further enhancing and achieving the refreshed look. Can’t forget about the mascara that helps showcase my natural lashes while enhancing their appearance by lengthening them and making them appear more voluminous. And of course, I can not go a day without adding a nice, neutral or clear lip gloss to top off the look.
