As I enter into my ✨soft girl era✨, I find myself incorporating blush into my daily makeup routine more often. Whether I want to give a girly pink touch to my cheeks to soften up my soft glam, or apply a more orange, neutral blush to my cheeks to help achieve the perfect tan look, I am always incorporating blush into my daily routine. Even if I’m going for a more clean, natural, minimal makeup look, blush has become my best friend as it helps to create the illusion of awakening my complexion and helps me achieve a more youthful natural appearance. 

Though to many blush may seem a little old school, blush has emerged and has become one of the biggest makeup trends in recent years as more and more people are looking to add a little umph to further elevate and enhance their look. If and when applied correctly, blush can warm up the overall appearance of your makeup, giving you the most amazing youthful glow. As a Black woman, it amazes me that Black women have the most powerful and influential spending power in the beauty industry, yet the majority of mainstream beauty brands cater less to Black women.
